Abhyanga is a friction massage performed by one
therapist or two therapists in synchrony, utilizing
warm herbalized oil and followed by a hot towel
treatment. As the oil is massaged into the skin, it
penetrates deep into the tissues to loosen toxins
(which are fat soluble) at the cellular level. The
Abhyanga enhances immunity, increases circulation and
creates deep relaxation in body and mind.
Gandharva
- 75 minutes $90 This is a meditative experience in massage
utilizing a crystal singing bowl for sound therapy.
The treatment begins with a full body massage using
warm oils, where specific muscular needs may be
addressed. The massage is followed by marma therapy
and finally energy balancing.
Marma- 45
minutes $60 Marma Therapy is the theory from which
acupuncture has its origins. Using pure essential
oils, the Marma Points are stimulated using a light
pressure which promotes subtle energy cleansing and
rebalancing. Marma points are the gateways in the
body where the body and mind communicate. By
stimulating the marmas, blocks due to stress and
improper diet can be dissolved.
Pinda-Swedana

Pinda-Swedana is a heat treatment in which herbal
bolluses are heated and applied using friction. This
process stimulates circulation and lymphatic
movement. Especially indicated for arthritis and
other inflammatory joint conditions, it may be
combined with other treatments as part of rasayana or
panchakarma.
Shirodhara

The Shirodhara is a profoundly relaxing treatment in
which a soothing stream of warm oil is poured over
the forehead. The oil pour follows a head, face and
neck massage. Time is permitted after the treatment
for the mind to integrate and re-awaken. This
treatment calms the central nervous system and
integrates the mind and body.
SAN
(Shiro-abyhanga-nasya) - 60 minutes

The SAN treatment is especially useful for
alleviating symptoms of allergies and head-colds.
This treatment begins with a warm oil head massage
followed by an herbalized steam treatment to the
chest, head and sinuses. The nasal passages are then
treated with eucalyptus oils, which further assists
with decongestion. Finally marma points on the head
and neck are stimulated.
